Lake Waubesa Stewardship Award

The Lake Waubesa Stewardship Award is presented by the Lake Waubesa Conservation Association (LWCA) to recognize an individual(s) or organization who consistently demonstrates and supports the mission and goals of LWCA through volunteerism, activities, ideas, and actions. The candidate is clearly seen as a significant contributor or caretaker for “Advancing the Well Being of Lake Waubesa.”

This award is initiated only when an LWCA member nominates an individual or organization for consideration by submitting the LWCA nomination form. Self-nominations are permitted. A majority vote of support from the LWCA board is required to recognize a candidate for this award. A brief biography highlighting the candidate’s contributions is required prior to board approval as part of the nomination form.

Nominations should be submitted on or before April 1 of each year.

Eligibility:

• Members and non-members of LWCA

• Organizations including LWCA partners and sponsors

• Municipalities

• Government employees

• Past LWCA board members (current LWCA board members are not eligible)

You will be notified either way if your nominee was selected. Awards are presented at the LWCA Annual Meeting.
