Funding is essential to the success of our Lake Management Plan (LMP). Grants from WI DNR and Clean Lakes Alliance were critical elements to funding this effort. The other key was partnering with Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) to run the project with their expertise, and some in-kind support. We could not have taken on this planning project without these important partnerships. Given this, funding is always part of our committee planning efforts and board discussions.
LMP Funding can be viewed in four main parts:
