Beyond membership in LWCA, improving the lake is a result of the efforts by Lake Waubesa stakeholders including shoreline owners, and the community at large. If nearly everyone can perform one action, the lake will be healthier.
Can I help the lake if I'm not a shoreline owner? YES, all of these actions can be taken by anyone. By slowing runoff to the lake, nutrients & pollutants can be filtered out, and fewer algae blooms can occur.
